Answers for Question Number (11 – 15):
The correct sequence is CEAFBD. Sentence C fits in the beginning as it introduces the subject- the boy who had ranked eighth in SSC exams. EAF can be established as a mandatory sequence because E states that he was unable to study because his father earned very less and A brings out the author’s reaction. ‘Study further’ in E refers to ‘study at a Teacher’s Training College’ in A. F states that he sent Rs. 1800 for his fees. BD is a mandatory sequence because B highlights the boy’s reaction on receiving the money for his fees and ‘some currency notes’ in B refer to the balance amount that he had returned in D. D concludes the paragraph by highlighting the kind gesture shown by the boy.
